
STEM is an important initiative across PCSSD that encourages students to collaborate, persevere and think critically. The monthly STEM is LIT challenges combine reading with STEM lessons to understand how everything works together. #pcssdproud #equityandexcellence


Mrs. Phillips, our AVID Teacher/Interventionist, taught a lesson in 2nd grade using AVID strategies. Students were divided into groups and worked together to annotate the text in order to find the central idea. The students then summarized the story and shared similarities and differences with their classmates.

What to expect:
•Live Entertainment throughout the evening! #The Senex Jazz Band, Senator Cheer, The #SingingSenators 7th/8th Choir, and featured speakers will perform on the RMS cafetorium stage!
•6-8th grade students currently attending RMS and families will enjoy perusing the building, visiting displays showcasing programs' recent student work, and will turn in course selection forms for 2023-24 year.
•5th graders at Baker, Chenal, Lawson, & Robinson Elementary can explore elective course offerings, meet teachers, and turn in their course selection forms.


January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Human trafficking is a broad term meaning the use of force/fraud/coercion to exploit another person for the purpose of forced labor or sex trafficking.
