Congratulations to Estefania (K) & Icker (5th)! They both won best in class for their grade level in the 64th “Young Arkansas Artists” exhibition, a show that celebrates works by K-12 students across the state. Did we mention that they are the ONLY PCSSD students featured as well?

May is Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month. One reason May was chosen to celebrate the contributions of AAPI people is Golden Spike Day. The transcontinental railroad, built with the help of many Chinese workers, was completed on May 10, 1869. #pcssdproud #serveall


The Eat My Catfish team brought learning to life for our students on Monday! This hands-on lesson allowed students to hold live crawfish & taste cooked crawfish, all while learning about these fascinating creatures and their role in Arkansas’ ecosystem.
