Our 5th graders had an amazing experience with the Apple Seeds Cooking in the Schools program! They learned about the importance of nutritious food choices and worked together to prepare a delicious dish featuring kale, turnips, sweet potatoes, green onions, and spices. The best part? They loved it so much that many went back for seconds and even thirds! Each student left with a recipe and ingredients to recreate the meal at home, bringing healthy habits to their families. Thank you, Apple Seeds, for an engaging and delicious learning experience!
